Alicia Requena Jimenez, aged 52, died at her home in Glossop on the morning of Sunday 5th June 2022. She passed away peacefully, with her husband and two of her sisters by her side. She will be sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues.
Alicia’s funeral will take place on Monday 20th June 2022, with a service at St. Luke’s Church, Glossop, at 10:30am, followed by a private burial at Glossop Cemetery at 11:15am. Please arrive a little early at St. Luke’s to ensure that we can all be seated in time for the service. Formal dress is not required.
Friends are invited to join Alicia’s family for refreshments at Glossop Cricket Club from 11:30am onwards.
Alicia’s death was caused by a relatively rare blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. If you knew Alicia, we hope that you will make a donation to the charity Myeloma UK through the link further down this page.
